Titirangi Primary School's Board.

Our School Board guide the governance of our wonderful kura. Their behind the scenes work is substantial and supports the school leadership, teachers and students to achieve the best outcomes for all within our school community.

What is the role of the School Board?

The Board is the employer of all staff in the school, is responsible for setting the school's strategic direction in consultation with parents, staff, and students, and ensuring that the school provides a safe environment and quality education for all its students. Boards are also responsible for overseeing the management of personnel, curriculum, property, finance, and administration. Our School Board works with the Senior Leadership team to set the strategic direction for the School.

When and where are meetings held? Meetings are held in the staffroom and parents are welcome to attend; please refer to the School's Calendar. The agenda is set prior to each meeting and minutes are made available on request. A complete record of minutes is available from the School Office.

Can I become a trustee? Every three years the school community elects its School Board. You can find out more about becoming a Board Member at the NZSTA website - and keep an eye on school newsletters and the website for upcoming election dates.
